Krav Maga/Self-Defense

A History of Krav Maga

Krav Maga gets its origin from a man named Imi Lichtenfeld. Born in Budapest, he trained at his father’s gym in boxing, wrestling, and gymnastics. He fought in many competitions and the tough streets where he was raised.

Lichtenfeld went on to join the Israeli military and was asked to develop their self-defense fighting style. He combined all of his fighting knowledge and applied it to the real world, and the result was Krav Maga which translates to Contact Combat.

Practical
Self-Defense

The focus of Krav Maga is on protecting yourself while neutralizing a threat. The fighting style combines elements of Muay Thai, Boxing, Judo, and Jiu-Jitsu.
This practice is taught to prepare people for everyday practical scenarios. Krav Maga appeals to individuals of all ages looking for achievable self-defense techniques and a full-body workout.
